The Electronic Musicological Review celebrates its thirteenth anniversary with an issue that presents nineteen articles that show the wide range of subjects within the broad field of musical research. It is important to note that this article presents new number given the diverse origins of items from both the Brazilian universities, as the universities of Spain, Mexico, India, U.K and the United States.
I would like to thank Professor Rogério Budasz the possibility to continue the work he began more than ten years as editor and founder of REM, and who kindly invited me to continue.
I hope you enjoy reading the new number and hope that new and ongoing contributions.
